The first single released to be credited to The Nolan Sisters, featuring a 9 years old Coleen on lead vocals.  ‘But I Do’ was originally a top 3 hit for Clarence 'Frogman' Henry in 1961 where it spent 19 weeks in the UK charts.

At the time the group consisted of Maureen, Denise, Linda, Bernie, Anne and Coleen; mum, dad and brothers Brian and Tommy had taken a backseat and left the girls to it. The sisters first performed the song on the Cliff Richard show in 1974, aired by the BBC, and who could resist the lovely cute Coleen? Unfortunately the single failed to chart in the UK.

The song was cute, fun and nicely arranged, but must have seemed something of a novelty record at the time.  The single would be backed with ‘Now I’m Stuck On You’, which the girls performed also performed on the Cliff Richard show.  ‘Now I’m Stuck On You’ was the first song The Nolan Sisters performed on television.
